Primary Mathematics Teacher Education Program is a bachelor's degree program in Mathematics and Science Education Department of Faculty of Education. In the program, field knowledge, teaching profession knowledge, general knowledge courses are presented.

Primary Mathematics Teacher Education Program started admitting students in 2012 and produced its first graduates in 2016. The objective of the program is to train mathematics teachers to work at secondary school level (5-8 classes). While the number of students in the program was 48 in the 2012-2013 Academic Year, this number reached 200 in the 2017-2018 Academic Year. Primary Mathematics Teaching Program, located in Bartın University Kutlubey Campus, has 3 Assistant Professors and 2 Research Assistant.

In the Primary Mathematics Teaching Program, there is given a cooperative master's degree program with Abant İzzet Baysal University
